Overview

The Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of this college. The college has provided adequate infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. In fact Training & Placement activities are organized throughout the year with a view to prepare the prospective learners for the campus selection programs. It is heartening to state that reputed industries across the country visit this college regularly for campus recruitment programs however, cell maintains good rapport with all industries for effective recruitment. The cell also plays a vital role in bringing the students and industrial community together for a mutually satisfying employment relationship.

The cell plays a crucial role in counseling and guiding the learners of the college for their successful career placement which is an important interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employment. We try our best to provide secure job offers before they complete their program of studies.

Objectives of the T & P Cell

  • To prepare and train aspiring learners to face campus recruitment by providing them exhaustive training with relevance to communication skills, aptitude test and overall development for personal & professional grooming.
  • To arrange guest lectures of industrial experts to update and upgrade learners with hands-on experience in the wake of ever changing dimensions of professionalism..
  • To arrange guest lectures of alumni who are placed in reputed industries to inspire and motivate the aspiring learners.
  • To arrange guest lectures on diverse career paths such as Indian Army, Navy, Air FORCE, ONGC, NTPCL, UPSC, GATE and TOFEL etc.
  • To make concerted and consistent efforts to enhance employability through campus placements.

Activities of T & P Cell

  • Campus Drives and Pool & Off-Campus Drives for not only the students of our college but also for the students of the Marathwada region.
  • Industrial visits, technical talks of industry persons, expert talks, etc. for making our students aware of the current trends in the industry & to bridge the gap between Industry & Institute.
  • In-Plant training and internship opportunities to our students so as to get practical exposure of the industrial work culture.
  • Special & regular aptitude & soft skills training for our students so that they can grab the placement opportunities in the campus drive.

Career Counseling

The Career Counseling Cell plays a pivotal role in guiding students towards informed and well-structured career decisions by aligning their skills, interests, and aspirations with suitable career opportunities. The Cell provides comprehensive support for multiple career pathways, ensuring that every student receives personalized and practical guidance.

To support global career aspirations, the institute has established MoUs for foreign education opportunities, enabling students to explore higher studies abroad through expert guidance on admissions, eligibility, documentation, and career planning. Dedicated counseling sessions help students understand international academic pathways and professional prospects. The Cell also offers focused guidance for higher education and competitive examinations such as GATE, assisting students with exam awareness, preparation strategies, and long-term academic planning. For students aspiring to join the public sector, structured counseling is provided for government job opportunities and competitive examinations, including awareness sessions on eligibility, exam patterns, and career growth.

A key strength of the Career Counseling Cell is its emphasis on developing a detailed and defined career path for each student. Through continuous mentoring, skill assessment, interest mapping, and psychometric analysis, students gain clarity about their strengths and suitable career options.

The Training and Placement Cell plays a proactive and strategic role in securing meaningful internship opportunities for final-year engineering students, ensuring a seamless transition from academics to industry. Through sustained industry networking, institutional collaborations, alumni engagement, and continuous corporate outreach, the Cell successfully places students in prestigious organizations such as Airbus, Indian Space Research Organisation, IIT Bombay, Endurance Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Grind Master Machines Pvt. Ltd., CanPack India Pvt. Ltd., WebTech Developers, Newtek Electricals, Jabil Circuit, and Haier Appliances, Probion Tech., Precision Precast, Siemens, Porfyro IT Solutions, AI Unica, etc. As mandated by the university curriculum, students undergo a structured six-month internship that immerses them in real-time industrial environments, enabling them to apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges within their core domains. The Cell ensures that each internship is outcome-oriented by coordinating closely with both industrial mentors and institute faculty mentors, who systematically monitor attendance, project involvement, technical contribution, professional conduct, and overall skill enhancement. Regular reviews, progress reports, and performance evaluations are conducted to assess competency development and industry readiness. It is my privilege to welcome you to the Training & Placement Cell of our institute. The T&P Cell plays a pivotal role in bridging the gap between academic learning and industry expectations. Our core objective is to nurture a healthy, progressive, and student-centric work culture that enables holistic development, career readiness, and long-term professional success. I am Dr. Swapnil Dhole, Ph.D. (Mechanical Engineering), MBA (Marketing), M.E. (Production), B.E. (Mechanical Engineering), with 10 years of professional experience, and I serve as University Representative MATPO – Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University Representative, Marathwada Region. With a strong academic foundation and industry-oriented outlook, I am committed to building a robust placement ecosystem for our students.

The Training & Placement Cell functions through a structured and systematic approach that includes career counselling, skill-bucket-based training, internships, live industry projects, and continuous engagement with industry through strategic MoUs. Our strong industry connection ensures meaningful exposure, hands-on learning opportunities, and alignment with current and future workforce requirements.

We focus extensively on aptitude development, soft skills, communication skills, domain expertise, and emerging technologies, enabling students to face recruitment processes with confidence and clarity. Through sustained industry relations and proactive planning, we strive to create multiple career pathways for our students across core industries, IT, services, and public sector organisations.
